Christmas Day

Ahhh... Christmas morning, a time to be with your loved ones, a time to reflect on the past year.... A TIME TO RIP-ROAR THROUGH ALL YOUR PRESENTS AND CREATE THE BIGGEST MESS IN THE HOUSE IN 7.2 SECONDS!!!!!
Preston getting into his stocking.

Taking it all in....

WOW!

Preston gave Daddy his own VT football- picked it out at school during his Secret Santa shopping trip (how sweet!!)

Mommy and Lila Anne opening gifts

Preston has wanted a Tyrod Taylor jersey forever!!

Lila opening Preston's gift (a ball)

Playing with her new doll house...

Daddy and Lila taking a break. We had to wake Lila up, so she was pretty tired Christmas morning.

Our Babies!!! Merry Christmas, LOVES :)

Just part of the aftermath....

Christmas Eve :)

We love the tradition of going to my mom and dad's on Christmas Eve. We always have a great dinner (thanks guys!), wine, and the kids all run around like crazy opening gifts :) They had a blast and got waaayyyy too much stuff on Chrsitmas Eve alone ;): Mommy and Daddy were EXTRA nice this year  too.... Mery Christmas All!

Preston's Holiday Party

On 12/21 Preston's class had their holiday party :) All the parents were invited, and I got to go in and do a  craft with the class before the party. It was really special to be a part of his classroom activities :) We made reindeer candycanes :) Preston has a wonderful classroom and 2 amazing teachers!

Preston gave his teachers their gifts, here he is hugging is TA Mrs. Tyndell.

If this doesn't explain American obesity, I don't know what does....
Each child had to bring something that started with the first letter of their name- staying true to form, we brought in Pomegranates :) Everyone else... not so much.......

Our niece :)

How cute is she?

Winter Program

Last week, Preston had his winter program at his school. The kids all did a wonderful job! They sang like 10 different holiday songs, and by golly, they knew every word. It was great. Lila SO enjoyed it. She was singing along (she also knows all the words... she loves to sing) and when they would pause, she would yell "MORE!" Too funny. Here's a look at our lil' man....

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving was awesome this year- we actually stayed put for the first time since San Diego! It gave me an oppertunity to do some cooking, and that I did! I LOVE to cook, for those of you that don't know. I stole this recipe from my BFF Kari- I slathered this baby in maple syrup (the real deal....) and then wrapped it in a pound of bacon... turkey bacon, of course... I didn't loose my mind!!!! It was FANTABULOUS, if I must say so myself :)

It's not the prettiest thing, but damn... it was good :)

The Not-So 7 Year Itch!

No 7 year itch here, Baby!!! Still going just as strong as we were 7 years ago... hard to believe it's been that long! I want to thank this man that changed my life. This man that, literally, came in a swept me off of my feet. I went on spring break a wild and crazy party girl, came back IN LOVE. Such a special bond that we share. I love this man with every inch of my being. I do.

Backtracking...

Here are some pics from Preston's Fall Ball. He played for the Astros this time around :) Ray was the coach, and it was a great season. All the kids learned so much and had a great time.

Lila Anne and Preston went to Chick-Fil-A for their Super Hero night... only Mommy took them on the wrong day... so we had Super Hero night twice in our house! Super FUN!! Here they are in the costumes... how cute is LA- that shirt is Preston's jammie shirt!!!

Watching the Hokies with Daddy..... A Saturday tradition in the fall :)
