Blogging...

Just an update on the ol' Biasi Fam-
Lila Anne and I BOTH have double ear infections right now! Good times :) She had been running a fever in the night- a high one, usually around 104- doc said since she was showing no signs of ear pain, or throat pain, that it was probably just stemming from her cold. She was acting fine during the day, it was just at night... something wasn't right...
Well, mother knows best- I took her in after the second night of a high fever and sure enough- both ears infected! We are both on medicine now and are feeling much better today :)
L.A. is also getting a another tooth.... poor thing! It is all swollen up and should pop through any minute.
For those of you that don't know, Ray took a new job a few weeks ago and starts next Monday, on the 2nd. He had been laid off in January, and we were lucky, and blessed to have been offered a wonderful, better job with the government! We are all ready to make the switch and get our normal lives back :)
I think that's it- oh... we signed Preston up for T-Ball this spring! He will have actual practices and games... soooo exciting! The only t-ball stuff he has done in the past has just been the fundamentals of t-ball, he has never had a real team, with uniforms, practices, and games! We cannot wait!!!

What's That White Stuff???

Yes, it actually "snowed" here :) It was only a dusting, but nevertheless, the city shut down and Preston thought it was awesome- his first time seeing snow! We made the best of it :)

Dress Up Time :)

In a bored moment today, mommy and I played dress up! She dug out an out an old tank top , put this super hot, shiny belt around it and even gave me my own purse! I loved it! Check it out-

SORRY...

It's been a while, I know!!! Sadly enough, we haven't been doing that much lately- nothing worth taking any pictures of, at least!! I will get back on track soon, hopefully. In the meantime- here is what the kids are up too....
Lila Anne is getting so big! At her last appointment, she was FINALLY 21 lbs. She is running all over the place and has huge vocabulary already. Some of the words she likes to say are: Elmo (aaa-BOW), Duck, Bath, Mama, Preston (Di-Da), football (but-ball!), book, bye-bye, do- (really loudly, all the time!), all done, waffle, bagel, yogurt, dough (for milk!?)... I could go on and on..... She signs a bit to us, but nothing like Preston. She does "more" which is nice so we know to keep giving her food. She also signs "all done," so we know when to stop giving her food!! Hahaha! Her hair is growing so nicely now, can even do little piggies in there! Too cute :) She knows some of the parts of her body: hair, nose, toes, belly, hands, and ears! She'll point to each thing. We are working on her animal sounds... something REALLY important for babies to know!! She knows what sound a cat makes and a peacock?? Go figure! The girl eats like a CHAMP- I mean there is no discrimination here- she will put away some food too- usually more than me! Wonderful eater, and we are so happy about the, because Preston was not the same way!!! Her favorite past time these days are reading books (she brings them to me all day!) and brushing her teeth! She loves to brush her teeth- sometime 5 times a day! At least she will be cavity free!! We love her to death- and she is STILL a major Mama's girl!!

Preston is great too! He is learning to READ!! All by himself. We are so very proud of him. He can sound out words now and everything. He is also a math whiz! I know I have said that before, but it's really amazing. The kid sits there and adds numbers in his head- there is no finger counting- all of a sudden he'll be like "mommy pick two numbers, and I'll add them." He really thinks about it for a few minutes and then tells me the answer! We are amazed! He is also back in T-Ball again. He is good at that too- which he has always been. Not to BRAG- but the coach told me (in front of everyone!)- "I told my supervisor that they are all so good... but I have this one kid, Preston, and man- he is gonna be something one day... I'll see him in the Major Leagues... seriously!" He told us that!! Preston loves it and has such a strong arm for a 4 year old... probably every mother says this right? hahaha! We love our little man so very much, and are constantly proud of what learns!
That's about it from the Biasi Fam! I'll get more pics up soon... take care!!!
