Memorial Day Bash!!

My best friend Kari hosted a huge Memorial Day party at her house Monday afternoon. It was a beautiful day and everyone had a blast!!

My Baby's Last Day of School!!!

Oh No!!! My little Baby Boy is growing up!! It feels like yesterday when I dropped him off at Oak Grove Preschool! I was so worried that he was going to be scared or sad, but he loved it! Now he is all done for the year, and he is sad about it! He is taking some fun classes this summer to make up for it though :) Here are some pics. from his field day, his last day. He made those shirts for us to wear, so cute, they are his hands dipped in paint! I LOVE it!

Mommy's Photo Shoot....

I recently got a Digital SLR camera that I LOVE!! The problem is that I am now taking TONS of photo's... literally hundreds a day! So I will have lot's of updating to do from now on! I am having fun experimenting with my camera... enjoy! These are just a few of the shots I got of my sweeties!

Lila's First Words!!

We got a chance to get her sweet little voice on camera! I love it! She is trying really hard to say "mama"... I just just know it :) I'll say "mamamamama" and she watches my mouth so closely, and then says "babababa"!!!! She is SO cute. Enjoy the video :)

We've Got Words!!

Yay! Lila Anne finally started to babble!!!! Monday we were in Michaels and she just started saying "baba, baba, baba." We have been waiting to hear her little voice, and it's just as sweet as can be. I took a video yesterday, so when I get a minute, I will post that too.

House Project

So, a few weeks ago, we decided to take on the challenge of our UGLY patio! We've hated it for the 2 years that we've lived here, and now we have created an outdoor oasis :) We are VERY happy with the way it turned out...

My dad helped Ray build the deck, bless his heart... he had just completed his own only a few days before :) My dad cannot get enough of home projects, so we are fortunate to have his help ;)

The deck is actually still a work in progress, because we asked the home owners association if we could build an additional 4 ft. longer... we are still waiting to hear back, so we still have some materials lying around. A lot of the condo's here have a longer patio, so we are expecting it to be ok.

It's so nice to look out the window now and see how pretty it is, and to be able to actually sit out there and enjoy it with friends and family.

The Chesapeake Jubilee

Every year our town hosts this huge fair called "The Jubilee".... sounds like such hoedown, right? It pretty much is, but we had a pretty good time. There were lot's of rides and fried foods, so it was great ;) We got a chance to eat one of our favorite treats... a fried twinkie!! Hard to find, but the best thing to pass your lips EVER!! If you ever get the chance, you have to indulge!

Here is Mommy sporting her new "Posh" hair cut. Not really like the Posh cut, but that's the best way to describe it. I'll try to get a better picture of it up sometime soon.
